​When is the event? March 12th- March 15th
What are the gate hours? Gates open Thursday, March 12th, at noon till Sunday, March 15th 4:00pm. You may enter or leave at any time but if you leave after 10 pm or arrive before 7 am please be respectful of the neighboring community.
Where is the event? 8900 McCarty Rd. Corona 92880 Is there early access? Early access is allowed for preapproved tribes with builds. For approval, please message Mark Lopez (Z-Rex)
Are there nearby conveniences? Ie. Grocery stores, gas stations, hotels? There is a States Bros market, a Shell gas station within 2 miles away, and numerous fast food spots. Nearby hotels are the Fairfield Inn and Suites and the Hampton Inn.
Is Post-Apocalyptic attire required to attend Nuclear Winter? Yes.
Will there be community health obligations? We are asking all attendees to be considerate of the community, If you are not feeling well, please do not come.
Are tickets refundable? Tickets are non-refundable. The event will go on rain or shine. I
Will I be able to buy food on-site? Yes, we will have a food vendor on-site, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night munchies.
Can I bring my kids? No, this event is 21+
Can I invite my friends? This is a vetted private event; please message Mark Lopez (Z-Rex) with the specifics if you want to invite someone.
What are some essential things to bring? Flashlights, gloves, cold weather camping gear, a reusable drink cup, water, trash bags, camp chair, and hand sanitizer.
Where do I put my trash? We will have a dumpster onsite; if you would like to use the dumpster for your tribe’s trash, there will be a $5 charge. If you do not wish to pay this fee it will be pack-in and pack-out.
Will There Be medical services on site? We will have first aid.
Why do my tickets have to be in my legal name? We need to be able to verify your ID against your tickets for insurance purposes. We need your Facebook name to make sure you are invited/vetted.
Can my Tribe create a themed bar/event space? Yes, please consult Mark Lopez (Z-Rex) for size specifications and requirements.
Can I camp in an RV/vehicle? Yes, there are designated spots for RV camping but there are no hookups or dump stations on site. There is a free-to-use dump station at the Corona water purification plant less than 5 miles from the site.
Can I camp in my car? Yes, however, we have new car camping locations this year which will be near the RV camps. We will make exceptions to this on a case-by-case basis.
Can I bring a themed car or truck? Yes but they must remain parked and may not be driven through the village during the event. Non-themed cars must be parked in general parking.
Can I ride gas-powered minibikes or other small motorized vehicles on site? No, Though ADA mobility aids and e-bikes are absolutely acceptable.
Does my camp need to be themed? Only if you are camping within the themed area.
Can I have a campfire? Propane camp stoves or fire pits are permissible. No wood or charcoal fires are allowed.
Can my camp have amplified music? Amplified music is permissible between the hours of 10 am to midnight at a reasonable volume. There are two designated areas where DJs are scheduled to play after midnight at a reduced volume. (The Great Hall)
Can I bring prop weapons to this event? Yes, prop weapons are permitted during daylight hours but must be put away at sundown.
Can I bring my dog? Yes, but your dog must remain on a leash at ALL times. You must clean up after your dog. If your dog is not socialized or dog-friendly, DO NOT bring them. You must sign a separate waiver at the gate, agreeing to take financial responsibility for any damage your dog may cause.
Am I allowed to go into the building on-site? Do not enter buildings or their back areas unless you have been given permission by the individuals who have rented that building.
Will you have security on-site? Yes, we will have paid security on-site throughout the entirety of the event. They will be operating with full authority on behalf of Unkle Zeke’s Pit Stop. Please respect them.
Things to Remember consent consent consent Every attendee of Unkle Zeke's Nuclear Winter has a clear expectation of being safe and comfortable at this event. If you aren't sure your words or actions require consent it is best to assume they do require consent and ASK FOR CONSENT. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for those who disregard other people's safety and feeling of security. Drink Responsibly This is an event where alcoholic beverages will be present. If you partake in consuming alcohol, please do so safely and responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse alcoholic service to anvone for any reason. Dont be a dick This is a fully inclusive and accepting event for individuals of all backgrounds, creeds and identities. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination, racism, sexism, or disregard for any individual's identity or sexual orientation. We just want to thank you for supporting our event, we here at Unkle Zeke’s will continue to strive to meet the needs of community and improve where needed. See you all in the wastes!
